Congratulations to Alicia Tung who won as the Champion of the CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Sustainability Corner Competition. To promote sustainability, her design prototype incorporated practical educational methods that stimulate learning and teaching practices to raise awareness.
The other finalists who pitched their innovative ideas also deserve special mention. Their high-quality submissions not only show their talent and hard work, but also their commitment to achieving a sustainable future.
Alicia’s design, as well as selected submissions from the other finalists, will be considered for installation at selected properties within CapitaLand Ascendas REIT’s portfolio.
About the Competition
This competition creates a platform for youths to express their creativity/talent to raise awareness of environmental issues and sustainable solutions. Winners of the competition will get the opportunity to implement winning designs/concepts in CapitaLand Ascendas REIT’s properties in Singapore and overseas.

Design of a Sustainability Corner
The Sustainability Corner is a physical installation/exhibition-type setup displaying content to raise awareness on climate change/sustainability issues among tenants and visitors to the properties.
It is envisaged to be a collaborative showcase within each property on sustainability efforts by CapitaLand Ascendas REIT and its tenant(s), which aims to achieve the following:
a) Demonstrate joint commitment to stakeholders
b) Educate, encourage, and inspire employees, users/visitors to adopt sustainable practices
