#KeppelRISEChallenge
Climate change is one of the major environmental challenges of our time that requires concerted action by all countries. Without urgent efforts to reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, climate change can result in higher temperatures, rising sea levels, and changes in weather patterns. This in turn causes significant damage to homes, businesses, and livelihoods globally.
#KeppelRISEChallenge aims to educate and raise awareness of the importance of being sustainable in our everyday lives. In addition to integrating this practice into schools, we hope it can also be incorporated into homes on a daily basis.
This competition is a call-out to academic institutions in Singapore to demonstrate their various efforts, actions and initiatives in combating climate change.
In line with SG Green Plan 2030 to build a generation of eco-stewards in our Singapore schools; the challenge encourages expressions of environmental thoughts and actions by the digital native generation on the social media space.
