One Earth Symposium 2023

The One Earth Symposium aims to bring educators together to discuss and work on solutions to the world's most pressing environmental challenges. The symposium is held annually and typically includes keynote addresses, upcycling workshops, and board games. The goal is to provide a space for people who are interested in working on a sustainable future.

The new sustainability pedagogies are designed to help students learn about and understand sustainability issues. They are more student-centered and experiential, and they emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and action.

Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre & Glow On Gallery Tour

A tour of the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre and the Glow On Gallery will show participants how the sustainability message is spread and taught to the general public, how our everyday actions can have an impact on sustainability, and how our habits can become more sustainable.

Upcycling Workshop

Paper Carton Multi-Holder
Our upcycling workshops aim to showcase how we can rethink waste items and transform them into useful items. The Paper Carton Multi-Holder is made from milk or juice cartons and can be used to store coins, a facemask, or other small items.

Play Learning

Sustainability Education Through Gameplaying

Project Green Plan 2030
This game introduces players to the sustainability sector in Singapore and the potential green careers. It also highlights and reinforces the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The game will also give players an understanding of sustainable city development and how to leverage various civilian need.
