In conjunction with the World Environment Day, the Sustainable Singapore Gallery is organising this exciting event where we will be discovering the threats marine life faces due to human actions, how they are affected, and the ways we can mitigate these threats.

About The Sustainable Singapore Gallery

Located on the second floor of the Marina Barrage, the Sustainable Singapore Gallery is a modern and interactive gallery that provides an overview of Singapore’s sustainable development. This 1,618 square-metre gallery is organised into six zones, labelled Zone A to Zone F, each providing information about a different aspect of sustainability in Singapore.

Hop onto our Sustainability Trail where you will role-play as a diver exploring the ocean! Go through a series of exciting and interactive activities to discover more about Singapore’s amazing marine creatures.

Want to give waste a new lease of life? Trash To Treasure allows you to salvage plastic bottles and experience the possibility of turning upcycled plastics into something useful! 

Are you a seafood lover? There are many local seafood delights that we love and enjoy. However, do you know that unsustainable fishing methods are used to capture marine animals? This interactive experience allows you to delve deeper into sustainable seafood consumption, and what we can do to be involved.

Join us for an engaging talk session with Coastal Natives! We will be touching on the importance of the ocean and what we can do to be responsible consumers, dishing out educational quizzes, and conducting an upcycling workshop!

Guess The Creature is a little warm-up activity that introduces you to various sea creatures!

Fishing For Litter

A hands-on experience for children to try fishing out litter to make our oceans clean. Learn how we can reduce litter in our oceans through this activity!
