We proudly served as the custodian of The Sustainable Singapore Gallery (SSG) since 2018, overseeing its management and development as a key platform for sustainability education. We have curated impactful exhibitions, implemented innovative programmes, and engaged diverse audiences to promote environmental awareness and action.
All activities, programmes, and events at SSG were designed to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and the SG Green Plan 2030. These frameworks guided our approach, ensuring that sustainability remained at the core of every initiative.
A key initiative was the Sustainable Singapore Gallery School Programme, which catered to students at all levels—from pre-primary to tertiary. Through immersive tours, hands-on activities, and guided discussions, students explored Singapore’s sustainability efforts and gained insights into pressing environmental challenges and solutions.
Beyond regular engagements, we organised flagship events that brought sustainability to life through interactive experiences. Out of the Blue focused on ocean conservation, featuring sustainability-themed games, upcycling workshops, and escape room challenges. The National Day Celebrations at Marina Barrage provided a platform for community engagement, incorporating sustainability-themed games, upcycling workshops, and a sustainability trail. LITE-UP promoted energy conservation through hands-on workshops and activities designed to inspire real-world action.
